We are pleased to share our current Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) for the year 2024: a total of 1,208 tonnes of CO₂, determined in close collaboration with Climate Extender and in accordance with the standards of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. Our main sources of emissions continue to be purchased steel and electricity consumption.
Compared to the previous year (2023: 1,122 t CO₂), there has been a slight increase – primarily due to higher production volumes. Nevertheless, we’ve already achieved some initial successes through targeted measures:
Our new photovoltaic system (138 kWp) has been operational since January 2024 and is already having an impact. Electricity consumption dropped from 1,185,676 kWh to 938,326 kWh compared to the previous year – a reduction of over 20%!
