Cobra goes space. For a successful discovery of our orbit, science is in desperate need of self-folding structures for solar sails attached to small satellites. These struktures have to be lightweight and “space-approved”. One possible solution might be bi-stable strip steel made by Cobra. It rolls up like our traditional Slap Wrap, but also shows the tendency to extend into free space when allowed. We call it: Wrap Stick.
