At Cobra Bandstahl, we not only rely on innovative technologies in the manufacturing of steel strips but also place a significant emphasis on sustainable practices to contribute to environmental conservation. Therefore, we are excited to introduce our latest investment: As of December 14, 2023, our new Photovoltaic (PV) system with a capacity of 138 kilowatts peak (kWp) is currently being installed on the roof of our new building.
As a company specializing in the cutting, tempering, and painting of steel strips, we are aware of the substantial energy requirements associated with these processes. Hence, we have a clear focus on minimizing our carbon footprint and integrating sustainable energy solutions. The implementation of the PV system marks a significant step in this direction.
This is one of several initiatives we have undertaken to align with the sustainability standards of manufacturing facilities in Germany in the future.
