In addition to the TW1000s running in continuous operation, we are in the process of developing a new generation of Traverse Spoolers. The construction of the prototype is in its final stages and assembly is as good as complete. In February 2022 the first test runs will be started.
The difference between the two machines is the weight of the coil to be spooled and the traverse technology. The TW1000 traverses the strip to the coil and the CTW1500 traverses the whole spool to the strip. This offers our customers extended flexibility in the spectrum of materials to be spooled for the future.
